SPACEMAN® Viewer provides remote or field users the ability to view, print or comment on planograms without needing the expertise of advanced merchandising applications.
Unlike an electronic photo (.bmp or .jpg) or traditional 2-D photograph, a planogram file (.pln) is a text file with intelligent data attached so that SPACEMAN® interprets and generates the planogram that you view and print. This feature also allows users to electronically transfer this file in a fraction of the time needed for a photo image.
Once your merchandising analysts have created planograms, they can easily be passed to anyone with a copy of SPACEMAN® Viewer. This could be your store managers or your field sales force. The end user can quickly make comments and return the planogram to the analyst for changes. If the planogram looks good, SPACEMAN® Viewer can print the planogram, predefined charts and reports for presentation or for implementation at the store.
SPACEMAN® Viewer users now have the ability to receive or view planograms directly from the corporate database by the use of SPACEMAN® Connectivity (ODBC) at a fraction of the cost of the traditional printed planograms kept by field personnel.
