Announcing the latest development in decision support—ACNielsen Workstation Information*Server.

As the 32-bit platform for ACNielsen information, Workstation Information*Server enables electronic access to ACNielsen mainframe PLDB, local Inf*act databases and relational databases that meet ACNielsen requirements, as well as certain standard ACNielsen software applications permitting manipulation of such data.

To run NITRO, you need one or more Microsoft Office application in one of the following versions:

  • Office 97 version with SR-2 of Excel, PowerPoint, or Word
  • Office 2000 (SR-1) version of Excel, PowerPoint, or Word
  • Office XP version of Excel, PowerPoint, or Word
Hardware Requirements

Minimum requirements to run the ACNielsen Workstation Information*Server application at your site, you need to have the following hardware in place:

  • PC with a Pentium processor (or higher).
  • Minimum of 32 MB of RAM for Windows 95 or Windows 98, and 64 MB of RAM for Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows ME, or Windows XP.
  • For better performance, we recommend 64 MB of RAM for Windows 95 or Windows 98, and 128 MB of RAM for Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows ME, or Windows XP.
  • 30 MB available hard disk space for installation of the software
